Capricorn men crave attention and especially anticipate it from those they love or care about. If you become enraged with him, the best course of action is to be truthful with him. Giving him the cold shoulder will be extremely detrimental to him and will be used against you as a strike.
If he has caused you harm, you can sometimes feel tempted to seek vengeance by intentionally hurting him. Yes, ignoring him will achieve that goal, but for what purpose?
Do you want to fix it with him or would you like to create additional problems that will pile up and eventually result at the end of your love? Take extreme caution with your feelings in the heat of the moment.
Heading somewhere else to stay calm away from him could be appropriate in the short term, but you may want to reconsider if you intend to be ice cold to him. If it is your default behavior, you may want to consider changing it.
The Games That Have Been Played Will Bring It To An End
Bear in mind that the Capricorn man lives by a moral code, and if you attempt to manipulate him by giving him the cold shoulder, he will undoubtedly view you as somebody he can’t rely on.
This means he may consider abandoning you. It may be your first time, or it may be your second or third. He will, I assure you. He has a limit on how much he will tolerate.
Again, if he has caused you pain or anger, you must first calm down and then speak to him logically and rationally. This way, you can develop mutual respect and trust.
Unless you’re prepared to let go or be dumped, I strongly advise against playing the game of silent treatment with your Capricorn guy. He tends to take it very seriously.
You Are Untrustworthy
The Capricorn man desires a partner on whom he can completely rely. If you are the type who cannot stand the heat and instead ices him out, you will demonstrate that he cannot trust or rely on you.
This adds to his mental stack of “she’s out the door.” There are numerous additional items that I could add to this list, but what you must remember is that Capricorn males Do Not like being ignored.
It is literally the most heinous act you can commit against them. It makes no difference how angry you are with him; you must keep in mind that he does not take well to being ignored.
It is clearly more helpful for you to become enraged and let him have it than it is for you to avoid communicating with him. He regards silence as his greatest adversary. When someone stops communicating with him, he feels turned down and extremely hurt.
The worst-case scenario is when he has no idea why you’re frustrated in the very first place and you choose to ignore him. Don’t do that to him unless you are prepared to accept the consequences.
He may well have done something that upset you and you feel compelled to punish him, but in the end, talk about it honestly. Get that off your chest and notify him of his mistake.
Communication is paramount.
This should be a guiding principle in ALL relationships. If it is not present, the relationship will fail to begin. Having said that, if you are unable to communicate with your Capricorn, you must examine your own insecurity or temper.
Even if your Capricorn has done something truly infuriating or hurtful, lashing out with silence is not the appropriate response. It could be something you’re accustomed to, but he isn’t, and he will react negatively.
He is not the type to come running or pursue you when you ignore him. Indeed, he’ll chalk it up to your lack of desire to be with him and may even start ignoring you back.
NEVER ignore a Capricorn guy. It is preferable to be explosive and express your emotions than to bottle them up and remain silent. He’ll believe you’re lying to him, concealing something from him, and perhaps conspiring against him.
Respect is Earned
Trying to give the cold shoulder does seem a bit childish in the view of a Capricorn guy.
If you’re hurt or angry, explain why and what triggered your feelings. Be completely truthful. Inform him that “when you did this, it actually makes me feel terrible.” I’m not suggesting you should place all blame on him, but consider both part of the situation.
Bear in mind that your Capricorn man may be completely unaware of why you’re upset, which then ends up hurting his feelings that you won’t speak to him. He’ll believe the trust isn’t genuine, which may cause him to leave.
The wisest choice you can do is to demonstrate your respect for him by demonstrating your respect for yourself. If he did something inappropriate, inform him! How can he really rectify a situation if he is unaware of what went wrong?
Inform him of what occurred and your feelings regarding it. Then there is less chance of him repeating it and your communication will improve. NEVER, EVER ignore your Capricorn guy in the hope of winning or keeping him.
